Healthy Body Cleanse – How to do it Right

If you haven’t been feeling like yourself lately, you  may be suffering the effects of excess toxic chemicals that have accumulated in your body over the years.  In many instances the first sign of excess toxin build up is a weak immune system, so if you have been getting sick more than usual lately it is time to evaluate your overall health and determine if toxins are the culprit.

These toxins that build up can play havoc on your entire body, and cause many negative symptoms ranging from sluggishness all the way to cardiovascular disease.

The good news is that a healthy body cleanse can help the body dispose of these excess toxins that have absorbed into the liver and other organs over many years of exposure to the chemicals commonly found in our environment.

So what is a healthy body cleanse?  It’s a healthy way of removing the toxins from your body using only safe and natural methods and organic ingredients.

Healthy Body Cleanse Tips

I like to keep body cleanses as simple as possible, as they really don’t need to be fancy in order to be effective.  As I mentioned in my article about home body detoxification, I always recommend a three step approach when it comes to a healthy body cleanse.

The three most important steps to a healthy body cleanse are:

Healthy Body Cleanse #1 – A Cleansing Diet

All body cleansing programs will require you to radically change your diet for a set period of time.  There are two common types of body cleansing diets-those that require you to fast (water or juice) for a set period of time, and those that allow certain detoxifying whole foods.

If you want to try a healthy body cleanse “fasting” diet, checkout “The Master Cleanse

If you don’t like the idea of eliminate all whole foods from your diet, then checkout Janet Hull’s Detoxification kit.

Healthy Body Cleanse #2 – Exercise!

Since sweating is a natural way to release toxins, it would only make sense to exercise regularly!  The exercise that you perform is not as important as the intensity and frequency.  Make sure you are exercising at least 5 days a week while on your body cleansing program at an intensity that make you sweat.

Healthy Body Cleanse #3 – Detoxifying Body Wraps

There are two purposes to detoxifying body wraps.  They will promote sweating to help rid the body of toxins, and also help release excess lymphatic fluids that store toxins.  Performing three body wraps each week during your body cleanse is a very effective way to accelerate the excretion of toxins.

There is no need to visit the spa for a body wrap, homemade body wraps work just as well!

The key to a successful healthy body cleanse is to be very commited and in the right mind set from the start.  You cannot cheat during your body cleanse, and by that I mean no sneaking snack foods, alcohol, cigarrettes etc.  you have to go completely clean in order for your cleanse to be really effective!

Thanks for reading my post.  I am confident that your healthy body cleanse will be extremely effective if you follow the steps I’ve outlined in this article!

Body Detox Foods – The Top 5 Foods That Detoxify the Body

As we age our body’s naturally accumulate toxins from the environment.  Although the body was built to naturally eliminate toxins, many of us lead such hectic lives that we make this task impossible.  This causes toxins to build up and reach unhealthy levels, causing many health problems.

One of the easiest ways to help your body eliminate toxins from your system is to consume those foods that naturally contain high levels of antioxidants and other nutrients that cleanse your liver. colon and blood.  In this article I will outline the best foods to consume for optimal body detox.

The Best Foods for Body Detox

Although there are many foods that have detoxification benefits, the list below represents the top five  body detox foods, in no particular order:

Body Detox Food #1 – Lemon

Lemons are very effective at cleansing the liver.  They are very high in Vitamin C and help the body convert toxins into a water-soluble form that can be flushed from the system with ease.  Diets such as “The Master Cleanse” rely solely on lemons to detoxify the body.

Body Detox Food #2 – Cabbage

Although many of us are not a big fan of cabbage, it has surprisingly strong detoxification benefits.  It helps activate two powerful detoxifying enzymes in the liver which in turn will help cleanse your entire body.

Body Detox Food #3 – Garlic

In addition to the cardiovascular benefits of garlic, it is also an important food that should be a part of any detox diet.  Similar to cabbage, garlic helps activate liver enzymes that are responsible for filtering toxic materials from your system.

Body Detox Food #4 – Vegetable Greens

The chlorophyll found in green leafy vegetables such as spinach helps remove toxic environmental chemicals such as pesticides and heavy metals.  In addition, it helps enhance and protect the liver.

Body Detox Food #5 -Fruit

Fruit is full of all kinds of beneficial vitamins antioxidants, and is also high in fiber.  Remember to try to pick fresh local or organic fruits for maximal potency and best taste.

By consuming these foods you will not only naturally help your body eliminate excess toxins and cleanse your organs, but will also encourage your body to achieve optimal PH levels.

If you are not familiar with how PH levels effect your body, simply put, a highly acidic environment makes it hard for the body to run efficiently.  By eating these body detox foods you will help lower the PH of your body and improve the efficiency of your internal organs.

If you are planning on performing a home body detox, I recommend that you checkout either “The Master Cleanse“, or Janet Hull’s detoxification kit.

The Master Cleanse is a fasting diet where you only consume lemon juice for a set period of time while Janet Hull’s detoxification kit focuses on consuming alkaline based vegetables.

I hope that my post about body detox foods has been helpful, and I wish you the best in your quest for a healthier more energetic you!

Home Body Detox – How to Detoxify Your Body at Home

Toxins that build up in human body due to years of exposure to air pollutants and certain foods can lead to many negative side effects including sluggishness, a weak immune system, allergies and general fatigue.   Those who smoke or eat unhealthy foods are even more prone to suffering the effects of excess toxin build up in the body.

Do you think it may be time for you to perform a home body detox?

Even if you aren’t experiencing any of the symptoms mentioned above, a home body detox is a great way to cleanse and refresh your body.

What is a Home Body Detox?

A home body detox (also know as a home body cleanse) is a way to remove excess toxins from your body.  These toxins have built up deep in your tissue from exposure to the following:

  • Air pollution (in door & outdoor)
  • Food (pesticides, trans-fat etc.)
  • Home cleaners
  • Chemicals in drinking water

Over time, your body may begin to store these toxins causing and excessive build up.  This build up of toxins hinders the ability of your body’s organs to function as efficiently as they should, resulting in fatigue, sickness and many other negative symptoms.

Fortunately a home body detox can help remove these excess toxins from your body, which will help increase engergy, strengthen your immune system and improve your overall health.

Home Body Detox Methods

In my experience, in order to really feel and see significant results, you can’t simply rely on one single home detox method.

What I mean by this is, although simply fasting or modifying your diet alone will help remove some toxins for example, in order to fully cleanse the entire body you must do more.

I recommend combining the following three things in order to get the most out of your home body detox program:  Diet modification, physical activity and detoxifying body wraps.

Home Body Detox Method #1 – Diet Modification

diet for detoxificationDiet modification should be the main focus of any home detox program.  There are many different home body detox diets out there, but generally they all involve eliminating most foods from your diet, and ingesting only those foods that will cleanse the body.

Some detox diets like “The Master Cleanse” involve fasting, and only allow you to consume water or juice for a number of days.  I personally don’t believe in these types of detoxifying diets however, and prefer those that allow you to consume certain organic vegetables in addition to liquids.

Janet Hull’s detoxification kit is a better choice in my opinion, since instead of eliminating foods from your diet entirely, it focuses on consuming healthy foods that are alkaline based which will in turn help lower the PH of your body.

Home Body Detox Method #2 – Physical Activity

Detoxification

Why is physical activity an important part of your home body detox program?  Because it makes you sweat, and increase your circulation which are two of the best ways to naturally eliminate toxins from your body. Any exercise is better than none at all, but low impact such as cycling, fast walking or swimming are much easier on the joints than jogging.

Remember that if you have decided to fast during your home body detox, then be sure to pay special  attention to the intensity of your workout since you could faint.  A brisk daily brisk walk for 30 minutes should be sufficient in most cases.

Home Body Detox Method #3 – Regular Detox Body Wraps

Detoxifying WrapHome Body Wraps are a fantastic way to cleanse your body of toxins.  There is really no need to go the the spa for a home detox body wrap.  By performing one at home, you will save lots of money, but still see great results.

As with all types of body wraps, the key to an effective detox wrap is using the right ingredients.  I can’t stress this fact enough.

I recommend that you use Aloe Vera as a base for your detox wrap formula, in combination with a number of other highly potent herbs and essential oils.

If you’ve never tried a home detox body wrap before, please Click Here to learn more about my home detox body wrap ebook.  I teach you how to make your own detox wrap formulas and exactly how you can give yourself effective home detox wraps.

It’s also important to keep in mind that during your home body detox, you refrain from alcohol, caffiene and tobacco.  Some experts also even recommend that you eliminate all unnatural products from your daily lifestyle (toothpaste, deodorant, hair gel etc.).

Well there you have it.  I hope that this home body detox information has been helpful for you, and I wish you all the best in your quest for a healthier body!
