Types Of Body Wraps

Have you ever wondered the benefits of different types of body wraps?  There are many different kinds of body wraps available.  You may have heard of one or more of the following:

And the list goes on!  There are many different types of body wraps available, and they each have their own specific benefits.

What many people don’t realize is that all of the different types of body wraps generally fall into two categories of body wraps.  Those two categories are herbal body wraps, and mineral body wraps.

Mineral Wraps Versus Herbal Wraps

Mineral Body Wraps

Mineral wraps typically consist of a clay base, and primarily focus on inch loss, cellulite reduction and fat loss.  There area also dry mineral body wrap kits that can be added to water that are less messy than clay or mud wraps.

Herbal Body Wraps

Herbal wraps consist on a liquid herbal base, such as aloe vera for example.  Various other herbs such as green tea, and other essential oils are also added to these types of wraps.  Herbal body wraps are generally used to help detoxify the body and help removed excess cellular fluids from the body.  They are also excellent for the skin, and will help tighten and improve skin tone.

Although inch loss will be noticed with herbal body wraps, the results may not be as significant as those seen by using mineral body wraps.

I usually recommend that you use an herbal wrap if your main goal is to improve your skin or cleanse your body, and use a mineral wrap if your want to lose inches or reduce cellulite.

It is important to realize however that all of our body’s respond differently to each type of wrap, and in order to find out what works for your body, you should try different types of wraps!
