The results of my first body wrap

Hi everyone, here are the results of my first healing body wrap – part of the Wrap Yourself Slim Complete Body Wrap kit.

Taking the post wrap measurements

I had a friend help me with the measurements. I used the tape and read out the numbers and she wrote them down. This had two advantages. One, it was quicker, and two, when I did the results at the end, I wasn’t tempted to change or make up any numbers, she just wrote down what I told her. I could tell by her response though that the results were good!

The instructions also state that you should mark above and below on your body where you measure using a pen or marker. I wanted to be sure to do the same spot, so I used a Sharpie. It definitely survived being under the wrap clothes. I had a whole series of tick marks up my body. But, they all came right off when I did take a shower.

After taking off all of the wraps, I used a warm, wet towel to wipe off the excess clay. The instructions say not to shower for a few hours so that the formula can continue to soak in. I could immediately tell that my skin was softer, it felt great! I don’t know if I felt skinnier, but I felt like everything was tighter, even after the wraps were off, I felt as though I retained that sense of compression.

Time to get out the tape measure.

The initial measurements I did from the ankles up, this time I went backwards, starting with my forearms. Half in inch off of each one! And a little over half an inch off of my upper right arm. Now, I had never noticed, and I still can’t tell by looking at myself, but the two sides of your body are not exactly equal. I guess that makes sense. My right bicep is almost a full inch thicker than my left, but, being right-handed, I do use it much more.

Some of the results were low, like my right ankle, which was zero change, but a couple were amazing!! Three spots in particular had significant loss and fortunately, they were all in areas that I was thrilled to see. The buttocks was an 1 ½ inches! The upper thighs had an inch from the right and an inch and a half off of the left one. But I was most happy to see my abdomen measurement drop from 37” to 35 ½.” WOW, in just one wrap!

When we added and subtracted all of the results, the total loss was 13.5 inches!! I couldn’t believe it.

After my friend left, I had to go and try on some of my clothes to verify what the tape measure was saying. Yup, that black skirt that’s been a little uncomfortably tight the past few months is finally fitting the way it should. My favorite jeans look great and my running shorts are baggy.

I’m not ready to run out and buy any new clothes yet though, we’re just getting started and with such encouraging results after just one wrap, I can’t wait to see what happens as I stick to my diet and exercise program and continue on with the series.

I’m doing my next wrap in a couple of days.

Stay tuned! Sara
