Performing body wraps at home warrants body wrap supplies.  Most of the supplies can either be ordered online or purchased at a local beauty supply store. Some may even be found already in your own home.  The cost of home body wrap supplies is quite reasonable and will cost somewhere between $80 – $200 depending on the number of treatments you want to have. The estimated cost already includes supplies that you will be recycling or using for more than just one wrap such as cloth bandages among others.

Tip: The more you spend upfront on body wrap supplies the less expensive each wrap will cost.  This is because buying body wrap formulas in bulk is much less expensive than buying smaller quantities at a time.

What Body Wrap Supplies Do I Need?

Let’s outline what supplies you need to perform an effective body wrap at home.

Dry Skin Brush – $9.99

Exfoliating your skin prior to a body wrap is an important step that is often overlooked.  Using a dry skin brush is an effective way of removing dead skin cells, and opening up the pores of the skin.

This will ensure that your body is able to absorb all of the beneficial ingredients of your body wrap formula that is applied to your skin.

These are reusable bandages that you wrap yourself in after you have applied the formula to your skin.  Body wrap bandages generally come in two different forms.  “Premium” body wrap bandages, and “high quality” body wrap bandages.  Premium bandages are more durable and will last longer, but cost more money as opposed to the high quality wraps.

Body Wrap Formula – $40 (8-10 body wraps)

The body wrap formula will be one of the most important supplies that you purchase for your body wrap.  There are many different types of formulas including:

  • The type of body wrap formula that you choose will generally depend on your budget, and specific goals.Bentonite Clays (Sea Clay, Sea Mud, Chocolate Clay for example).
  • Dry Mineral Clay
  • Herbal Liquid
  • Aloe Vera Liquid

Sauna Suit for home body wrapping

Sweat Suit – $19.99

The sweat suit helps trap the heat in after you have applied the body wrap bandages.  This is an “optional” body wrap supply, since jogging pants and a thick cotton shirt will suffice.  With that being said, for the small price of the sweat suit it is well worth the convenience.

Total price for body wrap supplies mentioned above:  $140 approx.

Instead of purchasing all of these body wrap supplies separately, it’s often easier to purchase a body wrap kit.  These kits contain the basic supplies that you need in a convenient package and are very economical. They also include additional products (such as our Amino Blast body spray, and Aloe Body Wash) and extras such as instruction, charts and tape measures.

Now you’re ready for a wrap!  The body wrap supplies listed above are what you will basically need for your first at home body wrap. As you become more experienced, you may begin to add new ingredients or make some variations with the accessories, but for now, this is all you need.
